Heirinji Temple, Niiza
The temple moved to the current place in 1663. It was founded originally in Iwatsuki, Saitama in 1375 and was destroyed in 1590 during an attack on Iwatsuki Castle by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It was rebuilt in 1603 by Tokugawa Ieyasu and moved to Niiza sixty years later.
Minami Valley, Tokigawa
Tokigawa is located in central Saitama Prefecture.
The city is in the westernmost part of Saitama. It is Saitama’s largest municipality in terms of surface area and shares borders with Tokyo, Yamanashi, Nagano and Gunma Prefectures.

Kinchakuda Manjushage Park
A park extends along a pouch-shaped rice field （Kinchakuda, 巾着田）embraced by the river. It is just spectacular to see over a million red spider lilies（Manjushage, 曼珠沙華）blossoming out together in Kinchakuda along the river. The best time to view the blossom is from the middle of September to the middle of October. The park is located in Hidaka, 70km away from the Central Tokyo.
