A large artificial island in Tokyo Bay. It was initially built for defensive purposes in the 1850s, and has developed since the 1990s as a major commercial, residential and leisure area.

Giant Gundam robot statue

The 18-meter-tall Mobile Suit Gundam robot was installed at the site in April 2012. It was removed on March 5, 2017, but the 19.7-meter-tall Unicorn Gundam will appear in Fall 2017.

Marine Day Lantern Festival 2017

Over 50,000 paper lanterns were lit with candles and artistically placed along the beach of Odaiba Seaside Park on July 17, 2017.
